Product Details
The multi-channel PCM system MAGIC Dante® WAN Bridge enables the transmission of up to 32 uncompressed audio signals via wide area networks (WAN).
By default, 8 Dante® channels are available and can be extended to 16, 24 or 32 channels via a software upgrade.
The audio connection for the audio inputs/outputs is provided by the integrated 32-channel Dante® interface, which has redundant GbE interfaces and of course also supports AES67.
The comfortable operating software allows the management of up to 10 systems including graphic surveillance and can be operated from up to 5 workplaces simultaneously.
The front display of the system also shows essential information on the status of the transmission.
Functions
The coding is done via PCM16 / PCM24.
Since the limited maximum latency of Dante in wide area networks, high jitter and possible clock differences between sender and receiver prevent a reliable transmission, the MAGIC ACX Dante® Wan Bridge solves these problems with a jitter buffer including automatic mode and intelligent sample rate adaption (SRA).
Options
8-Dante® Channel Upgrade
By default, 8 Dante® channels can be transmitted.
With the modular extension, 16, 24 or 32 channels can now be enabled for transmission as required.
Redundant Power Supply
A redundant external power supply is available for MAGIC ACX Dante® WAN Bridge.
OPUS Upgrade
Extends MAGIC ACX Dante® WAN Bridge for using the OPUS Codec for compressed transmission.
Via OPUS, 16 mono or 9 stereo channels are available.
MPEG Layer 2 Upgrade
Extends MAGIC ACX Dante® WAN Bridge for using the MPEG Layer 2 Codec for compressed transmission.
Via MPEG Layer 2, 10 stereo channels are available.
G.722 Upgrade
Extends MAGIC ACX Dante® WAN Bridge for using the G.722 Codec for compressed transmission.
Via G.722, 32 mono channels are available.
Leased Line Distribution Upgrade
Enables the distribution of an audio signal via leased line connections to up to 20 MAGIC ACX systems
SIP Distribution Upgrade
Enables the distribution of an audio signal via SIP connections to up to 20 MAGIC ACX systems
