The TITAN Micro Video Encoders/Decoders are used for live Video transmission over 2-Mbit/s, copper cable pair, X.21 or Ethernet lines.
The TITAN Micro 2M Encoder/Decoder can be operated via its various integrated 2-Mbit/s line interfaces. TITAN Micro 2M can be connected to 2-Mbit/s leased lines, to the 2-Mbit/s ports of STM 1 Add & Drop Multiplexers, microwave radio links, ATM switches (E1 Ports), etc. and the TITAN Micro 2M-40dB, to coaxial cable and symmetrical (twisted pair) copper lines. The X.21 version of the TITAN Micro can be connected to X.21 leased lines, e.g. to X.21 interfaces on PCM30 systems and microwave radio links..
The TITAN Micro Ethernet Encoder/Decoder can be operated via its integrated Fast Ethernet 10/100 BASE-T interface. It supports the TCP/IP protocol.
Follow-up model
The follow-up model of the TITAN Micro Video Encoder/Decoder is the TITAN VC2, which is also availabl ein different versions for ISDN, 2-Mbit/s, IP, X.21 or V.35 networks.
