The PKI 7-kHz ISDN Software Codec is a PC based solution using the G.722 coding algorithm for high quality speech. The software permits realtime audio transmission with 3.1-kHz telephone quality and superior 7-kHz speech quality.
Functions such as storage of Audio files, transmission of stored and pre-processed Audio data,
telephone directory etc. offer the reporter an easy solution for live reporting. Via a simple software
control the reporter can first have a discussion with the studio and then transmit available
Audio files or make live reports. The encoding delay is minimised and guarantees optimum live
reporting.
The software is interworkable with almost all Audio Codecs available in the market
and supports the ITU-T J.52 Audio transmission standard. For the operation of the software a PC
with ISDN card and a sound card is required.
